THANK YOU FOR RUNNING THE H4H5!
hands 4 heroes 5 is in the record books!
You know we ran "Hands 4 Haiti' in the first four years as a fundraiser for the Shawnee Community United Methodist Church's medical, educational andf humanitarian missions to the poor of Haiti. This year, we decided to expand our reach to include support for deserving non-profit organizations that help America's Heroes, principally combat-wounded military veterans.
You came out strongly in favor of this year's event and made the 5th H4H another gigantic success!
Congratulations to 3-peater MIKE PERRY (536) for his Men's & Overall win in 1:16:32.5! This is Mike's third consecutive H4H Half Marathon victory!
Congratulations to JENNY KOPILCHACK (558), the Women's H4H5 Half Marathon winner in 1:45:28.5! Outstanding!
Congratulations to JUSTIN SIMS (610) for his overall 5K win in 21.00 minutes!

Due entirely to the generosity and support of the people of northwest Ohio and Allen County, H4H has been a very successful community-based evolution, transforming local enthusiasm into global action. All proceeds from H4H have gone to support the medical, educational and humanitarian initiatives in Haiti.
Race Director Andrea Ross germinated the original idea, and with the enthusiastic support of CommUMC Senior Pastor Bryan Bucher, H4H has blossomed into a highly anticipated annual community and regional experience for athletes and families.
We're especially grateful for the squads of volunteers who come out, year after year, to help make H4H a resounding success! If you and your family want to pitch in on future events, we offer a fun day and a free Staff T-shirt: Ping Andrea below on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail. Watch this page for details on scheduling of H4H6 in 2014.
YOU RAN IT & ROCKED IT!
